Among its capable functions features a gut hook for de-gutting, a scaler for removing scales, and a full fine edge blade for slicing and utility use. The Processor can further be taken apart as separate tools or work cooperatively as a regular scissor and fin clipper. Ergonomic structure with an oversized shape offers more control and ease of use, the handle is further made of glass-filled nylon and TPE on Gerber's trademark HydroTread Grip. The HydroTread Grip uses different textures in raised sections for grip - especially effective in wet environment and is also hydrophobic or easy to wash. Whether you are using it as a scissor, a knife, or a scaler, the handle is purposefully made for versatile comfort.

Gerber Processor Take-A-Part-Shears comes with a molded sheath with a protective choil that keeps you away from harm when desheathing it. It can also be washed.
